I was asked to volunteer (actually didn't have a chance to say no) at the Teddy Bear Breakfast at the Festival of Trees for the Providence Foundation. Since the funds from this event go to Children's Services and Providence Children's Therapy Center is part of Children's Services, we needed to have some of our staff present. I was lucky enough to "guard" the Live Life One Cupcake At A Time tree sponsored by Western Washington Physcians Group and designed by Joy Works. The children's faces as they looked at this display, especially the candy jars, were so full of joy and wonder. They did a beautiful job. I am sure that I will be volunteering again next year.
